I am a native Floridian and a graduate journalism student at USF St. Petersburg. I have an intense passion for travel and world culture, which I have been fortunate enough to indulge quite extensively throughout my life. I spent a semester of college studying in London and exploring Europe, and two years after graduation living in South Africa. I have island-hopped in Hawaii, backpacked around Australia, and cruised throughout the Caribbean many times.
After several jobs in the travel industry, I made the decision to return to school and pursue my dream of becoming a travel writer. In the process I have gained valuable skills in all areas of traditional and new media, as well as discovering a new found love of photojournalism. It is my goal to inform and inspire others by sharing my talent for writing and my enthusiasm for life.
